it is essential to the way we work, we collaborate daily as a team, with our consultants, clients, and the contractors who build our work.

we are always looking for new collaborative partners to enhance what we do

Ideas before ego

In order for collaboration to take its full impact, egos will need to be checked at the door.  The real truth is that even the best professionals don't have it all figured out. They usually just have a bigger group of people working behind the scenes.  The best ideas must be allowed to win out no matter their source.  This can't happen when titles or egos get in the way.

technology

Enhancing collaboration is where we believe technology has given us the most and we love it.  The fact that we can operate as a firm while living literally from the west coast to the east is something we get jazzed about.  This also means that we can connect with more people, in more locations to share ideas and work better together.  Technology is stunning!

Creating a Collaborative

Whether it is working with other architecture firms, design professionals, creative people, or even our own employees, we get excited about creating a collaborative that expands expertise and opens new opportunities

we have outline below some potential scenarios that might lead to a collaborative effort.  let us know if you are interested in working with us for any reason.

we will partner with you just for bringing us work.

No matter who you are (employee, past client, fellow architect, friend, neighbor, etc.)  If you bring us a new client we think we should compensate you for your part in creating a new project.  Just let us know you want to partner with us in that way and we can work out the details from there.

you have work and want our help

You might be a young architect just starting out and wanting some help along the way, a small firm needing to increase your capacity to service a larger project or a practice from out of state looking for an Architect of Record.   No matter the situation we think there are great opportunities to help each other through collaboration.  We have worked in a number of these situations and have always been pleased with the results.   Depending on the various roles we all might play on any given project we can discuss how best to split the work and rewards to benefit all involved.

Certain projects or liability structures may require some creative structuring such as establishing single purpose entities in order to facilitate this type of collaboration from a business standpoint.  We are not afraid to do what is necessary to make stuff happen.  Once we know you are interested in partnering with us we can get to work seeing if we can't get it to all make sense for everyone.

let's get creative

The cross pollination of different creative fields can lead to some pretty amazing experiences and open new opportunities that were previously unknown.  If you are a creative professional, computer programmer, artist, or really anyone looking to partner with some architect types and get creative, we are all in!   Let's find ways to work together and bring about some incredible stuff!   We understand form and space, have experience in digital fabrication, love learning new things, and aren't afraid to get our hands dirty to build something in the real world.   This is probably the most exciting type of collaboration for us as it challenges us the most.
